These are hands down the best boots I've ever owned. They took zero time to wear in, super comfortable right out of the box, they fit me perfectly and they are absolutely beautiful. I love the boot and am really happy about it - mostly. Despite painstakingly measureing my feet, ankles and calf - going through a fit-zoom call with an Adelante representative - the fit is still too snug at the ball and toe of the boot. On top of that, the sole is extremely thin. I'm going to have to take the boots to a local cobbler to see if I can stretch it to fit my feet, and hopefully add a more substantial sole. I can't return them as they were custom made to my feet. I dug deep to pay for these because they were custom. My feet do not fit into standard sizing, so I had high hopes for the custom-sizing. I'm really disappointed that the fit is too small despite all of that.

Wife is thrilled and dirt was as expected based on site sizing suggestions. Not a single flaw!

Am so pleased with these boots. The leather is lovely and workmanship fabulous. They feel pretty good size-wise but will need to wear them in a couple of times when the weather cools down (summertime in Australia at the moment). Would definitely buy shoes/boots again from here.

I wear these beautiful boots every day! They help me feel adventurous, and they remind me of forward motion in all challenges and opportunities. They remind me of the beautiful country of Guatemala. I have wide calves and high instep. The boots git my feet and legs. I am happy with them.

My wife loves these boots. The are very similar to a pair she wore for a couple of years that could not be resoled. She is very impressed with the fit, in particular that it could be fitted to the calf so well.

I love the clean lines of my Condessas, but now looking for a flatter heeled boot. Is it possible to get a version of the Reina without the straps/buckles at the ankle and calf? (I know it would result in a plainer boot, without the curved cut above the instep that the Condessa has - but, I'd be OK with that).

I adore these boots, and am constantly complimented on them when I wear them. They are great quality and the signature inside is something I show off at every opportunity to show how well made these are.

My boots are beautifully crafted. They fit perfectly and are very comfortable. After a few outings in them, I can already see and feel how the leather is softening and taking the specific shape of my feet and calf(s). It's a bit scary to buy something so expensive without trying it on, but Adelante's craftspeople, along with the sales person who measured me, have coordinated and the end result is a beautiful pair of hand made boots that I expect to enjoy for years to come. Gorgeous boots. I sent them back to get some adjustments on the widths.

I don’t know how I heard about this company but I was so excited to find out I could get a wide width and various options in calf widths in quality boots, as often most higher end boots are for more narrow feet and slimmer calves. I ordered the customized version in the dark brown and changed the sole to the dark sole because I didn’t like the lighter one on the standard one. The option to customize the entire boot in any of the leather color combinations you want is awesome. I got a wide width in my regular size shoe with the first wide calf size and they are perfect. I measured my calves before choosing the width and with the stretch panel and adjustable buckle and how many width options there are I probably could have gone with the highest “standard” calf option but with the wide width I chose I can wear really thick fleece leggings under the boots and they zip comfortably and I can adjust the strap if I need to tighten the calf when wearing tights and have more room at the top of the boot. The leather is sooo soft and supple, it is very high quality! There was essentially no break in period. I am already budgeting for more of their shoes in the future, I love these boots so much! Also have to note, I had to deal with customer service over some issues I was having with the delivery company they send their packages through and customer service was very helpful and fast and ultimately I was able to get my problem solved. Definitely recommend this brand and will be shopping with them again!

WOW !! This is my first pair of Adelante Boots, The Reina Boots I got in Black, they are so nice, beautifully made well craftsmanship. The only downside I have came upon is that they are slick in the snow, do wish the tread was a little deeper for that purpose, but not a deal breaker! Thanks for making them custom fit your calves, spot on!!

These boots are beautiful, comfortable straight out of the box, & size as anticipated. I typically wear 8 narrow and measured my calves. I ordered 8 N & the boots fit perfect with great quality!

They are so comfortable, fit beautifully, and look awesome. The first day I wore them I had them on for 10 hours straight and could have kept going. There was no breaking-in period. So happy with this purchase!

These boots are well made. You can see the quality and details. They were great for my long walks in Europe. The fit was perfect. Width of the opening and inside were perfection. Highly recommend purchasing these.

Really excellent boots. I got good sizing advice from customer service and so ended up with boots that fit my calves which are sort of in between regular and wide. Boots are comfortable for all day wear and the leather is high quality. Love the principles of the company, too.

Finally found a boot that fits my large calves, and are beautifully made. Very comfortable. My only suggestion would be to make the shaft a little taller

The boot fit so well. It is very comfortable and looks great.

I have never been able to get boots to fit. I have narrow feet and wider calves. My feet are 1/2 size different from each other and my wider calves are also different sizes. The first pair I got were too narrow in the calves, but Emma and I had a Zoom conference to sort out the issues and the replacement pair are perfect. Very well made of nice thick leather (but supple) with full leather lining. You could easily pay more for boots off-the-rack at Nordstroms and not get this fit. If you have odd sizes like me, I recommend getting a fitting appointment before ordering to ensure that the first try is good. I have high arches and asked then to not glue in the insoles. I was able to put in 3/4 length arch supports under the provided insoles and have great support now. It's nice to be able to feel good about supporting craftsmen and not some Chinese sweat-shop run by a big corporation. Highly recommend.
