Q: What is a wide width shoe?
A: A wide width shoe is designed for a broader foot than standard sizing. Standard women's width is B or C. Wide starts at D (W in most retail), and extra wide is EE (2W); Adelante's range extends all the way to EEE — one step beyond extra wide — for the very widest fit. At Adelante, the full 7 width spectrum is available in every women's style. You choose your width at checkout, the same way you choose your size.
Q: How do I know if I need wide width shoes?
A: You likely need wide width shoes if your feet feel squeezed at the ball or sides in standard shoes, if your toes are cramped even when the length fits, or if the sides of your shoes bulge outward.
