The first pair that I received was too big because I doubted their sizing, so I initiated the return process. The representative contacted me by email within a couple of days and helped me to choose the correct size based on what I had. She was very helpful. Return was painless and the new pair came in faster than the first, which fit great. I highly recommend this company for a quality shoe far above any department store/off-the-shelf brand; for those wishing to step their shoe game up. I will be purchasing a couple of other models/colors for a full complement.

Additionally, the size that I ended up with is identical to my Whites Smokejumper boots (9 4E), which is another built-to-order custom-sized boot. I assumed that Adelante shoes would run smaller, like most shoes, but they are true to size.

Really wonderful construction and they are made to last. Quite stylish as well. If I could change one things it would be the under sole material. It is too soft and when I walk across small rocks they embed in the material. Other than that they are pretty perfect shoes. Would order again even with the sole issue but would like to see that improved so I have my life long cobbler :wink:

We purchased the Marco in Caramel 10.5 EEEEE(Super Wide). They go with everything and look especially spectacular with my husband's navy moleskin pants. We have purchased wide shoes, and none of them are wide enough for my husband's feet. We've spent over $700 for a custom pair of boots (they had to call to ask whether it was ok to use extra leather). The Adelantes are INCREDIBLE quality for the price while knowing that the maker was paid a fair wage. He wore them two days in a row - without a break-in - for travel and an interview.

Even if you don't have the same wide-foot problem, the actual shoes are amazing. The leather is beautiful, and excellent quality. The whole experience is positive from beginning to end. My daughters were blown away that we knew who made the shoes. The packaging is earth-friendly. I could go on and on. I'm definitely having a pair of women's shoes made next. Thank you so much!

I bought a pair of Romero’s in 2019 and after a couple of years of wearing them around New England, they have aged beautifully. Great leathers and lovely construction. Two years down and looking forward to two decades.

They looks great and are extremely comfortable. Extra pair of alternate colored laces is a nice touch.

'True to Size' means how you measure on a Brannock Device. I ordered the same size as my other dress shoes but my Marcos were too big! After I re-sized at a retailer, I ordered true to the measurement and am glad.

When I opened the box and held these shoes, I immediately understood that these were the highest quality shoe I have owned. I am so grateful to be able to support the craftsmen who make this their trade. Well done!

I’ve never had a shoe th at looks terrific, fits my unusual feet and is comfortable too! I can’t thank the craftspeople at Adela the enough.

Overall a very solid shoe that fits my size 15 EEE foot. The construction feels decent and the shoe looks good. My only complaint is that the shoe itself is very heavy compared to other similarly designed shoes I have.

I ordered the shoes in the storefront after trying on and measuring my feet to ensure the right sizing. They fit perfectly out of the box and are even more beautiful than expected!

I wore them the first time for a full day with just a slight rubbing on the heels. After a few more wears they already feel sufficiently broken in - it didn't take much.
