Gorgeous and requires a break in period. As a fat woman it’s really hard to find knee high boots. I probably ordered some of the wrong sizes (calf too big despite measuring and foot width too small) but I missed the return window. After trying them on at home a few times and not being satisfied I finally gave up and wore them out. I wore them to a party and did some short walking. The sole/foot construction feels very stiff in hand but wore much better than I anticipated. When I got home I easily could have worn them longer. They are gorgeous and I can see how beautifully the leather is going to wear. If you have foot pain, chronic pain or simply have a sensitive body overall a must is a really good pair of socks with these, they will help the boot feel much more comfortable. The buckles are undone in the photos because I weatherized them last night. Another must for the PNW rain.

The booths are wellmade and fit me well as for size. I wish the leather was just a touch softer. I will have them make me sandals and other shoes.

I was so excited to find Adelante. As a women that has wider calves than the typical wide calf boots found in most stores I was thrilled to see the great range of calf circumferences offered and the ability to select the foot width. I also really like the color options. They fit great right out of the box and needed next to no break in. I used the chat feature to help determine my size and it was super helpful. I love these so much I ordered a different style of shoe to try next. Adelante has me as a customer for life.

I broke my ankle several years ago which made finding boots especially tough. The leather softened very quickly and the have become my go to.

The leather is so soft and there was no break in time at all! I was able to get a wide width in both feet and calf sizes which is unheard of in higher quality boots for women. Definitely recommend them, will be buying other shoes from here in the future!

Honestly I cannot say enough great things about my boots. I love them. They are so well made and fit great. I am so glad I invested in these boots and was a part of paying a skilled craftsman fairly. That is something that is very important to our family.
