Quite simply the most perfect shoes for me that I’ve ever owned. Down to the fact that I personalised a funky colored strip down the back of my boots but also because of the customised width and room in the boot for my wide feet. I wore them the day after they arrived walking all over NYC without any problems whatsoever, and I’d bought them because I’d been having foot pain issues in other shoes. Beautiful craftsmanship and thoughtful boots.

The shoes are great, they fit well, and are very well-made. I will have these shoes for a long long time. They are priced very competitively, and I don’t mind the weight. I also appreciate the company vision and values.

My only issue, Roberson which is good to the leather, was not fused very well and so starting to freak out pretty quickly. I need to get these repaired at a local cobbler, and I don’t want to paid for the service.

As someone with an unusually sized foot I was initially worried about how the boot would fit. The Adelante team worked with me every step of the way until I finally found a custom size that fit me. Since receiving my boots 3 months ago, I can say these are one of the most comfortable pairs of shoes I own. The quality and durability of the boots also continues to impress me. I really can't recommend this boot enough.

I asked to have this model made in blue leather. They turned out beautifully. I couldn't be happier with them. Each pair of boots I've gotten has been beyond my expectations.

They are a great looking boot, the material, craftsmanship and quality makes me wish that all of my shoes were hand crafted.

I bought the Mendoza size 4.5 - I'm a size 6.5 typically in women's shoes, but generally prefer more androgynous styles, and these fit BEAUTIFULLY. They are made with the highest attention to quality and detail. I'm so impressed with the final product. I recommend Adelante to everyone I know who's looking for a good pair of shoes that will last a lifetime (as long as you take care of them, of course). The leather has a more natural finish which I personally prefer. I also really enjoyed the update videos from Adrian, my craftsman, as well as the fact that each craftsman signs the inside of the shoe. I think this is the first time in a long while that I've bought a product that doesn't feel ethically wrong - I actually feel proud of owning a pair of shoes from Adelante, a veritable miracle in the capitalist despot we all live in. That somebody actually makes a good looking boot in a real EEEE is a gift. I've had trouble all my life trying to find a good looking shoe wide enough for my feet, and now I found one. Bravo!
