Boots are too stiff for me. Feels like I have cardboard on. I have use mink oil, and alcohol water several times without any difference. Sorry to say they sit in the closet.

The boot is very well made. But the leather dye smell is overpowering. The boot is very stiff— some stretching is necessary to make it workable.
The shipping & delivery took forever! Issues with production were addressed only after multiple inquiries. After our emails, the customer service person was available with updates that we really appreciated.
Not sure we would recommend—due to all the issues we encountered.

This is my fifth pair of Adelante boots. It’s my third pair of the Córdova boots. I cannot tell you how much as a man I feel the company is missing the opportunity to market these boots to men. I’ve noticed from the reviews there are several men buying these for themselves and leaving more and more reviews on them come on company. It’s about time you recognise a missing link in your marketing men wearing more boots. These days that were designed for women please please start marketing that way I’d be happy to model them for you for you to use in your advertising. They fit absolutely perfect. The length is great. The heel is wide enough to wear every day as a man and a perfect it’s time to move into the new world. You can be gay or straight, and where these boots as a man.

This company is top notch. The leather smells amazing, the quality of the boot is beyond impressive. It took a few times to get the sizing correct and customer service made this a breeze. Here's the dilemma...while I love the look of the boot, and the fit is finally on par, these boots are HEAVY and I'm having a hard time wearing them long enough to actually break them in. Think of them like a pair of cowboy boots where you'll need to suffer for a while before they are comfortable. However the heaviness makes me reach for a different pair of boots most days. I wish I found them more comfortable for regular wear.

As a guy who wears boots all the time, these boots are the most comfortable, stylish, best fitting, and quality constructed boots of my boots. The Condesa should also be listed in the men's section of your offerings. I have recently ordered a second pair in black because they are Great boots.

I love what Adelante stands for and I wish I could buy shoes exclusively from them. I bought this model last year and loved it so much I bought a second pair.

Unfortunately, this design has been updated in an unsatisfactory and less attractive way. The large expanse of elastic down the back of the shaft makes the boot look cheaper and more casual. The fit is totally different as well. This is a shame because it is a beautifully made boot.

If you like the way it looks and are going for a more causal look, you'll love this boot. If you have a Condesa from 2022 or before, please note the shaft and fit is totally different.

Bought for my mom for Christmas. She has extra wide feet but skinny calves, so this was the perfect boot! Beautiful design that can be dressed up or down, very comfy, and made with excellent craftsmanship! The customization of foot width and calf size allowed for a perfect fit. My mom was so thrilled that she bought a second pair.

Highly recommend Adelante. In addition, they provide excellent customer service and are supporting artisan shoemakers.

As a male, I find it difficult if not impossible to find men’s boots that are stylish and not simply clunkish and inelegant. I stumbled across the Adelante website and the enticing Condesa boots which were knee high, a mid-heel and included some custom fit features. Finally took a chance and ordered the pomegranate in a size 12 narrow with expedited construction and shipping. They arrived quickly and have become my favourite pair of boots in their design, colour, close fit , and comfort. I have received many compliments on them and they are very comfortable. Contemplating another pair perhaps in blue. My deep thanks to your quality and great craftpersons.

I just ordered my second pair of boots from the company. This time I ordered a pair of the Condesa in desert colour. Oh my God, the quality of these boots is the 2nd to none I purchased these for me and I am a man. I purchase these in a size 10 and they absolutely fit my foot and leg. Amazingly, I will definitely be ordering several more pairs of boots for myself. It’s a shame that the company doesn’t market these boots for men as well because they’re very stylish and can be worn every day.

I love my boots so much! They are absolutely perfect! I want another pair. The custom fit option made it so that they are crafted exactly for my foot/calf dimensions, so they fit like a glove. I’ll probably never buy boots from anyone else now that I’ve discovered Adelante shoes.

I have nothing but great things to say about the busy service and the boots! I had to return my order a few times due to the wrong fit, but the customer service was amazing, and patient with me until we found the perfect pair. I was so excited to find a beautiful full leather boot with extended calf sizes. I measured before I placed my initial order and the boots that arrived were 5cm too small and couldn’t zip. After excellent communication with CS, I returned for a replacement. The replacement boots zipped… but just kept getting wider up to the top, which (as another petite reviewer pointed out) was high enough to knock against my knee and be really awkward when I sat. It took me a few days to recover from my disappointment, but I am exchanging for an ankle boot. The leather is gorgeous and construction is beautiful. These just weren’t meant to be for me.

I absolutely loved these boots except that the shaft height was way too tall for me (I'm 5' 2') and cut into the back of my knee painfully every time I sat down and walked around. Just one or two inches shorter on the shaft height would have been perfect. Wish they were customizable for height and not just calf width. I also measured my calf wrong and should have measured the width while I was sitting down instead of standing up, which made the difference between them being too tight as well. Returned, but wish it would have worked out because they were really lovely! Happy with the customer service and ability to return them. Will order a different style.

These are the most beautiful boots I have ever seen and were super comfortable right from the beginning. Customer service was fabulous. I needed them by a certain date to wear to an event and they made sure it happened for me even though demand was high after a recent sale.
